The Tapada do Chaves Tinto Reserva 2014 is a distinguished red wine from the Alentejo region of Portugal, specifically the Portalegre sub-region. This vintage exemplifies the estate's dedication to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of their vineyards.

Vinification and Aging
This wine is crafted from a blend of traditional grape varieties, including Aragonez, Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouschet. The grapes are hand-harvested from various plots situated at altitudes between 350 to 400 meters. After destemming, a cold maceration is performed for five days, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 12 months in Portuguese and French oak barrels, followed by an additional 24 months in the bottle before release.

Aroma: Intense and fresh, featuring wild berries, compote, and subtle balsamic notes.
